During the next several days our websites will temporarily go offline during system and infrastructure updates. There will be brief interuptions of services.
The update involves several networks, hosts, and locations. Although we staged and simulated the whole procedure in a lab, a final cutover to live operation always surfaces some friction that may take a few hours to resolve. Email communication may be spotty or not functioning during short periods of time.
We will keep this forum site open during the updates (it will be updated last) and keep you posted about progress, if that's necessary at all.

The network topology with all five servers was replicated successfully now. The cutover proves complicated. Thank you for your patience

The main site is up again now, presumably for an hour. One more host cutover is still remaining (some time in the afternoon, CET).

Servers are now up again and seem to be working fine. This forum needs an update, too. But that's less urgent. The update took way longer than planned. I'm glad we only have to go through this every couple years.
There will probably still be glitches popping up here and there. If you encounter any issues, please drop us a line at support at cognitone dot com.
Thanks!

I can't believe this blocked us for almost two weeks. I'm glad the roadblock is gone now. Let's get some well deserved sleep now and get back to making music and new videos!

The site is under attack by agressive bots several times a day - mitigation requires some attention

Is it possible that the forum software has developed some code to help users block these attacks?
