In an effort to reduce the number of instruments in my template, I have decided to start using Keyswitched instruments. So I have defined Articulations in Synfire no problem. But how do I actually assign them to a phrase or a note?
The only Controllers that show up for me are program changes and the normal stuff (see pic) in the phrase editor. If I manually have to add the note in after I assigned it seems counterproductive.
I know it's probably simple but I haven't used keyswitches up to this point in Synfire.
Thanks,
Brian

Articulations do not appear as controllers. Assign them to a figure segment in the phrase editor. There is a drop down menu for them at the bottom.

Supertonic,
Is this where you mean in the phrase editor? (I drew an arrow)
I turned on every view and clicked every controller and am not seeing them. That area is blank for me.
Sorry for the trouble.

Yes, that is the phrase editor. You need to use the segment tool, select a segment in the figure.

Thank you, Supertonic.
BTW, feel free to make fun of me. I deserve it. Can't believe I missed it.
