I have uploaded a rather large library of Cognitone Libraries I have created in the last year.
There are mamy catagories of instruments, piano riffs, string, bass riffs, drum riffs etc. There is not a lot order to them. There are also libraries from songs, and libraries of a collection of similar material.
I have up loaded it in a folder Cognitone Libraries
(https://www.box.com/s/c3b6964206f36b9af3dc)
These contain all the individual libraries.
If you wish you may download the whole library either stuffed or zipped.
Hopefully others will do the same and we can all benefit from each others work. I had started a pallette of chord progressions which was quite nice, but it got lost in one of the updates (my fault no doubt)
Here is the sitx one (Mac)
Here is the PC zipped:
There is also a brief READ ME file. I had to split the stuffed/zipped files, cause Box won't let you have a file over 100 meg. I hope the unrar and unstuff works OK.. I used Stuffit on the zipped file.
If anyone has trouble let me know.. First time compacting files into smaller bundles for re-connecting later..

Putting the files together with 7-Zip worked fine. Now I'm heading for the studio for taking a look at the libraries. Will let you know what I made out of them. Probably I'll publish my libraries, too.

Hi, Soundcase.
The file must not be in the public acces folder because is asking for the username/password.
Thanks in advanced, also to Markstyles and Duderanch for sharing. Incredible work you've done. I expect to exploit these resources and don´t let you down :admire:

Thanx Soundcase for the work you have done.. I've still been making up libraries mostly as I go, with no real rhyme or reason. I just decide I want to work on a jazz like piece and start making libraries for that..
We I had enough time and patience, I might sort them out. But then part of the magic of music is what happens by itself. There could be endless sorting of libries, bass - 4/4 bass w/syncation, bass chormatic, bass 8ths. 16ths.. In fact it would be endless.
I suppose as I make more I might start making favorite libraries, with phrases that I like, but I'm not sure I even want to use the same snippits, although it's so easy to mangle them completely out of recognition
Thanx again..

Hi DudeRanch - Sorry it took so long, I just discovered your post and library.. THANK you... There's some nice stuff there.
I suggest when someone creates a new library, it be uploaded to the Synfire.com 'Files' section. That way they are more accessible, more permanent and easily discovered by others to use. Six months or a year from now, we might change 'clouds', or Box, rapidshare, etc. Or a lot of 'hot air' might blow the cloud away.

Many years later, I want to ask if we can use your provided phrases for free (even in music we want to publish). Or would you claim your rights later on?
