It is unbelievable that manual not shows how to work with this program.
A core feature..changing parameters ..is not explained in the manual..or do i miss something?
I don't have a clear idea till now, what the workflow is for chancing parameters for a figure..
- there is the phrase editor and there you can edit there parameters too .. or not ?
- there is a arrange view with a button for displaying selected parameters : --> answer : The purpose of the button is to be able to edit all parameters also in the arrange view.
As i understand it now..there are 2 ways (places in SFP) of editing the parameters in SFP for chancing a figure in order to get a desired phrase?

I'm guessing at what exactly your question means - to change the parameters of a track.. Hightlight that track (or section of) in arrange window, and click on the parameters on the right side of the screen. Some other parameters you access, by double- clicking the track, and an enlarged track opens there, you can access other parameters, length, pause, change velocities, etc.

Yes, if you switch this button:
then you can switch between the different parameters in the arrangement view by clicking on the parameter name and the tracks show then the vectors of the selected parameter (instead of the figures). This way you can edit the parameters directly in the arrangement view just like you can do it also in the phrase editor. But of course you have more overview at the phrase editor.

Thanks!
It seems to me that in both , the arrange view and phrase editor you can edit the same parameters
To do it in the phrase editor..you must use the parameter inspector ( view )
Why it is possible on 2 places in SFP?..more overview says Juergen in the phrase editor.
And there is also the issue of dark green and light green( lit) parameters
It seems to me that the initial state of parameters after a import of a midi is that the parameter not is on ( dark green )
Only after a chance of value of the parameter is in "on".. i will read the manual again.

In the phrase editor you have more room to display the phrase what makes it easier to edit it. The arrangement view can be used for example to drag a parameter from one instrument to another and to make minor edits at the phrases without the need to switch over to the phrase editor.
And there is also the issue of dark green and light green( lit) parameters
Light green means that this container contains data for the parameter. Dark green means that the data of this parameter is inherited from another container.

You /could/ work with the arrange view alone, if you work in the same container all the time.
The phrase editor gives you the opportunity to edit phrases in /multiple/ containers at the same time by opening editors from different containers and keeping them open.
The phrase editor is just another view on the same data: When you edit data anywhere, the display updates in all open views.
