Is it possible that the live chord detection only work with a skech "band"
So the sketchband plays live chords while i play a melody on the right side of the keyboard
And, yes 16 midi channels and yamaha styles import .. so i can use a decent intro

Set the keyboard split on the keyboard widget using Ctrl + Mouse (Command + Mouse on Mac). All input above that split is just played and not used for chord detection.

No. Your input is passed through by the MIDI Through feature irrespective of the keyboard split.
However since the keyboard split is global, it would make sense to change this.
