When moving a container, it wouldd be nice if a vertical line went straight up to ruler, so you could be positive where you are moving the container too.

Yes, that would be usefull.
Also, when I select a chord at , lets say bar 17, and move to the progression editor, it would be nice if it jumps to that particular chord.
Even when selecting it in arrange .

Is there a 'snap' feature that can be set to bars, beat, quantize, etc? With a position read out as you are moving an object like in many daws.
That sounds like the ticket.

There is a snap, but when you have it to 16th it's really hard to see.
When you want to be sure set it to 1.
It's the same quantize setting use for moving the notes around, and you don't always want to set it back to 1.

Thanks for the clarification.
In Cubase and most DAWS there is a widget/ window displayiing the current 'snap' interval and whether it is active or not. I find I frequently change it back and forth when working with midi. There is also a small window that opens when you are moving things so you can see relatively where you are. I reads out the placement before you drop the object.
That would take care of being able to read where you are.
Isn't there also a 'zoom' function so you can expand the current container view?

The snap value is the current 'quantize' value. Adjust it as necessary for processes you're working on.. Quite clever actually, gets a dual purpose out of one box
