Unless I've missed something, it's very difficult to quantize correctly in Synfire without a grid.
I recently recorded a section with 32nds in it. The option to quantize from the transform menu was no good because in some cases, the notes were nearest the wrong beat. It then becomes very difficult to see the exact point where the note should be.
Ideally, I think there should be a grid shown, to match the selected quantization value. Other than that, it would be good if a position value of the selected note (relative to the bar) was shown in the Symbol scetion of the Figure parameter (where it already shows Velocity, Length, etc.).
