I just installed Synfire 1.10.12 in Big Sur 11.2.3 (intel). It loads, although slowly, but if I try to do anything else (e.g., click on anything in the menubar), it just stops responding (beachballs), and I must force quit the app. No idea what the problem is, any ideas appreciated (I tried uninstaalling and re-installing, no luck). On a MacBook Pro 2018 15" 32Gb.
Update: the problem occurs when I click on anything in the Apple menubar, not the Synfire window menubar.

After several unsuccessful attempts uninstalling/reinstalling v. 1.10.12b1 (same problem, cannot use the Apple menu to quit or anything else), I downgraded to 1.10.11b6, which works with the Engine workaround on Big Sur (intel). 1.10.12 is a no-go on my Mac, I'm afraid.
