Many of the VST instruments I have use the mod wheel (modulation) instead of velocity. I would like to be able to copy a figure's velocity to the modulation parameter but I don't know how to do that.
I have tried extracting the velocity from the figure and then copying and pasting to modulation by dragging outlets and by using the copy and paste commands. Neither seems to work ("paste" is greyed out for modulation).
I can copy From modulation To velocity. I cannot copy From velocity To modulation.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there any way round this?
