Is there a way to create a figure from a selected part of a take?
I have been recording in little chunks, harmonizing, deleting the figure and recreating the figure but I cant figure out how to just bring in the last created passage.
Tonight is my first serious trial with Synfire with a deadline. Giving up the Nuendo habits is tricky but I'm never going back... I be poundin on the keyboard like it aint no thang!!!

Sure: Select the desired portion of the Take and perform the figure recognition as usual. That will preserve everything outside the selection.
You might need to cleanup overlapping segements, but basically that's it.
