Hi,
I tried to link synfire to studio one 5 using the rewire transport.
I loaded the transport and drone in studio one with an instrument inside the drone.
I can see in synfire the transport in studio one is found.
But unfortunately, when trying to add a sound through the sound wizard the "drone in DAW" stays greyed out.
I have no idea what I am doing wrong, I reread the docs multiple times, but I don't see what I'm missing.
This was super easy in synfire 1, but it seems impossible to figure out in version 2.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What does the rack module library on the left sidebar look like? Drones disabled?
If so, they may be already taken by another arrangement.

H,
Thanks for you reply.
I added 2 screenshots, but to me, there doesn't seem to be much of anything in there.
Added a third screenshot for potential clarity.

The drone is not connected to Synfire. Its 'Online' indicator is dark. Possibly it's an older version of the plugin?

I think this might be a bug with the audio engine.
It didn't work with Reaper either.
After opening both studio one and synfire.
Enabling the drones, I saw they weren't connecting.
When I killed the audio engine, it immediately restarted, and the drones came online in milliseconds.
And I'm able to select them in the sound wizard.
I made a little recording in case that's helpful.
Anyway, I can manage like this for the moment.

Sometimes on Windows there's a second instance of Synfire.exe hung in the background that may get in the way of connecting with the drones. Synfire should quit when it's quit, but Windows seems to have different plans occasionally.
