I was wondering if there was any formulas that could be used in the inspector text fields for symbols?
To clarify, say I have a bunch of symbols selected and I want to add to the lengths of the selected notes, I could type in "+10" to add 10 to the lengts or "/2" to cut all note lengths in half instead of typing a fixed number.
I often need to do things like adding a bit to the symbol lenghts to force overlaps because some of my string libraries does bowing only when there's overlapping notes. (8DIO Adagio Violins for example)

I don't think that it works this way at the parameter inspector. But adding a bit to the symbol length can be done of course by dragging the right end of a selected group of symbols or of a entire figure segment with the mouse. If you do it with a selected figure segment (using the segment tool as I did at the attached Gif) you will need to hold down the Alt-key while dragging with the mouse. Otherwise the figure segement will be stretched (i.e. the symbol positions will change) when you drag the right end of the segment.

Alt key dragging did the trick, thanks.
Would be cool to have some formulas instead of all the mousing, or maybe it's a bit too nerdy :?

I agree with you , a "%" command would be nice..
