The "Hold" flag for a segment doesn't seem to be working. The pitch always changes when the note crosses over to a new harmonic context... even for brown (p) notes.

Hm. I guess you see this with a single, long note, right? Turn off the Auto-Split feature in the Interpretation. It has a higher priority than the "hold" property. Perhaps it shouldn't.
This should however never happen with a Static Pitch symbol. Seems to be a bug (added to the internal list for investigation).

Hmmm, wasn't aware of the auto-split property. I'll have to check that when I get home.
My first impulse would be to say that if the user clicks on a the "hold" checkbox, they are doing this deliberately and this decision should take priority, otherwise they will be confused (like I was).

Agreed, and I am having the same issue. I can't get a whole note to play as a single unbroken note across a chord change, driving me nuts. In my view if you check the "Hold" box it should HOLD. Otherwise what's the point of having the box?
