Yes, I must admt SFP is getting more user friendly, and in general a lot more stable than Logic for me.. Logic is crashing fairly frequently.
And SFP panic (reset notes) kills all notes while Logic's leave a couple hanging..
Yea Synfire Pro..... Yea Andre and Supertonic.. thanx..
I have managed to go back/forth now between SFP and Logic. Somtimes I create a melody in BIAB = load into SFP and smooth out harmonic balance and then import back into Logic, Just doing a track at a time.. Having been woring with SFP now, I feel much more confortable in Logic to move notes around. I'm becomeing more aware of all the temporary scales that come into play as a song progresses. And somewhat still suprised by how many blue notes (with help of velocity and duration into a melody and make it sound great. I'm actually feeling comfortable now editing a hand played melody or solo in Logic, add grace notes, and harmonies..
I wouldn't have mastered this if it were note for SFP. I consider it a very valuable lesson, in helping my melody creating abilities.
