Modulation Circle of Fifth

Not sure if its useful for Synfire 2 newbies like me, but I see a need to learn how Synfire's Circle of Fifth works and supports key modulation, especially Secondary Dominants or finding smooth pedal chords. The tutorial so far is bit short. Examples and videos would help.
