Hi,
Currently when we import an multi-track MIDI file all the tracks are by default enabled for 'Import Track' and 'Harmonic Content'. Often this is what we will want, and that scenario is covered perfectly by the default.
However, when we are importing multi-track MIDI files with the goal of only wanting 1 track to come in, it becomes very tedious to uncheck both items for every other track.
The fix here would be to have the ability to Deselect All, or in other words the exact opposite of the default, after which we could simply select for the 1 track we want.
Perhaps it should be called 'Clear All', or something else, but the idea is straightforward - the need is to switch from subtractive selection to additive selection!
Or maybe a double-click on one track would accomplish the "soloing" of that track (?).
Whatever the exact design, making this fast instead of tedious will be a big win for workflow as we go about building our libraries.

Yes. There are several other instances where multi-selection is also very desirable. This requires a rewrite of a lot of code, but that's no reason to not add it to the wish list.
