My problem: The pitch names shown at the left of the output parameter are only shown at the very beginning. If you scroll into your piece a bit, this display is gone and therefore the pitches later basically become very hard to read.
We already discussed elsewhere that a proper piranoroll display would simplify reading the resulting pitches.
Also, it would be helpful if pitch names would show octaves as well.
I assume I would not be the only one liking to see resulting pitches more easily. Anyway, if course this is only some medium term feature request.
Context: The output parameter helps me when fine-tuning details of figures and their interpretation. For example, I like to control the overall gestures of accompaniment patterns. Basically, I do not want to write extremely long figures (restricts Synfire too much), but still want to control somewhat the linking at phrase boundaries.
I also want to check the playability of resulting instrumental music. For example, can resulting chords be played with a single hand by a pianist?
I could do that only by ear, but the output parameter gives a quick overview, which greatly speeds things up.

Potential workaround for now: introduce smaller containers that subdivide longer containers, simply for reading the pitches. Hm...
