play without figure ?

i need basic whole note (sustained Play back like the pallette selected chord does)
i cant get it to play only sustained chords without the figure?? i would like it to respond to the playback button with only basic sustained harmonys in my progression.....
i need it to do this..sorry just installed and right now (not always) i am a bit impatient ..

Have you tried the chords-only playback mode? You find it in the Playback menu.

Alternatively you can add an instrument to the song and have its interpretation parameter set to the Auto-Chords preset.

chords only playback mode? isnt that a default setting anyway? well no that doesnt work. my initial install has that setting automaticaly didnt yours?

and your alternative is also a no go.?
