I tend to use a lot of quartal chords in my music and was just trying out some ideas in Synfire but can't find a way to maintain 4th intervals. Is this possible.

Using a very strict voice leading policy for the Interpretation parameter will force all notes to snap to chord tones. Simply set the "Scope" to "Chords Only". This will however stretch your pitch range significantly, because every 3 or 4 grid steps in the figure vector (depending on the size of the chord) a new octave will begin.
Another way to control pitch is to create custom scales in the Catalog and assign these as the vertical scale to the chords in your progression.
If you feel you want to stack multiple 4th and use them as chords, you can also add them to the Catalog.
Or perhaps I missed what exactly you want to do...
