Hi,
I have edited a sketch to mute a sound I don't care for, and then saved it, first saving via 'File Save As ...' and then clicking OK to exit the Sketch editor.
My result is a new sketch:
Ballad Piano Ensemble 80bpm noGtr.rtime
As the name suggests, I've muted the guitar track.
However, it still sounds! (e.g. when I click on a chord in the Progression display)
If I reopen the sketch and toggle the mute I can get it to be quiet, but then when I close the edit window it starts chirping again!
So, I would describe this as "Sketch Mute Status not Sticking when Closed or Saved".
From my POV this is a bug, but If this was/is intended, then my question is why?
Thanks!

Audio mute is not persistent. Use the Pause switch instead.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Pause? I'm not trying to silence all the playback, only the Guitar track. Am I misunderstanding something here?
I can completely delete the guitar track from the sketch, but then I lose all the FIgure, Interp., etc. info along with it. That is not the desired outcome, as I might want to resurrect that track at a later point (e.g. with a more desirable sound).
My point/suggestion really is that that saving the -full- state of a sketch, as seen in the Sketch window after invoking 'Edit Current Sketch ...' is much to be desired.
Would this not be possible to do?

Click on the 1, 2, 3, ... these are Pause switches with 3 states (they save as the Pause parameter)
