Snippet - Snippet length snaps to the length of the figure loop rather than the length of the longest parameter loop for its associated instrument e.g. modulation. Expected behaviour is that the figure should loop for the full length as determined by the longest parameter.
Container - Dragging a container into library doesn’t preserve customised instrument ranges

Managing snippet length is a challenge. It is not very obvious (small dashed vertical line) and easily overlooked. Assuming figure (if one is present) is the main parameter makes sense most of the time, but as you point out, not always.
Maybe the best solution is to make snippet/container length more visible, so the user can see at a glance if something is not as expected.
