I have no idea why the rider is pale or where and why she's actually riding, but since this arrangement lends itself so fantastically to Snippets sessions, I updated it and published a remix as one of the new Synfire examples:
Find the arrangement attached. It's the original that was not switched to portable sounds, so you may need to assign your own sounds before everything works well. It's a pretty simple arrangement based on very few KIM generated phrases and drums.
I always find it refreshing to replace phrases in a finished arrangement and see what happens. More often that not I get great surprises.
If you want to try a remix, or replace the phrases with something else, feel free to share!

Wanted to do a little remix here, but then the whole thing evolved. It has now become a whole new song.
Musically, I had a different vision than the original Pale Rider track. With a Pale Rider, I rather think of one of the four apocalyptic horsemen, namely the one who comes on a pale horse. So I tried to give the track a mood as apocalyptic as possible. The lyrics are also from the apocalypse (of course with adaptations to suit into the song).
The instrumental part of the track actually consists only of phrases from the original Pale Rider arrangement, but after all the editing steps and of course also due to the changed instrumentation and harmony, this is now probably rather difficult to recognize. In any case, no additional phrases were imported or played in manually for the instrumental part. The vocal line however was sketched manually in the phrase editor (at first with a flute sound which works best for a later transfer to a female voice).

No, the link is quite correct. :)
Enclosed is the arrangement file. The phrases contained in the "Instrumental" container and its sub-containers can certainly still be assigned to the original arrangement for the most part.
For example the figure, which is played by Guitar2 in the main part of the arrangement comes from the instrument "NI Noire Felt". The original figure of AAS "Vibraphone" can be found again in the instruments "Cosmic Bellpad" and "INSTR GTR Monster". And the repeating single note on the piano from the beginning of the original (NI Noire Pure in Container A) is found again in "Guitar 1". The drums I could not use in this intrusive form here. I did hide them in the background rumble of the timpani (instrument "Action Strikes").
The "guitar solo" between 2:30 and 3:00 (container "IE" and its sub-containers) basically consists only of the application of a few operations and parameters (Variation, Transpose, Bend).
Of course, there are also some effect sounds in the track. But these are only triggered and can't really be counted as part of the composition. They are summarized in the container "Additional instruments and effects".
What was also not usable, of course, is the harmonic progression. An apocalyptic piece cannot be in C major. To develop the harmonics, I made a sketch from a container of the original arrangement (I think it was container A).
By the way, this is my first piece ever where I really tried to do everything in Synfire and also put everything in a single arrangement file. Quite a challenge.

Absolutely, that's true.
The piece is really cool (the image also). I always recommend composers to never fear the radical, as it will actually not sound that radical in the end. This track is radical for sure. And that makes it good.
Oh and, you seem to be collecting a lot of fans already. Nice overall response within 48 hours.

I've been reading the Lord of the Rings book 1, and it got me wanting to make a new track called, Dark Lord. I've finished the track and in the midst of making the AI-art video for it which I'll post in a new thread.

Make it dark and radical. You've read that radical is good. However, I don't know at all what André means by radical. I would have liked it to be much more radical. But somehow it was not possible to really achieve that...
