An Epic Intro

Posted

Hi.

This short 4-bars demo was made loading into the Palette a common Eb Minor Natural scale and only three Sus2 chords.

IMO, to write a crescendo in Synfire one doesn't need to take particular care of the notes: if the chords were picked wisely before starting to compose -and after years and years of "epic" music, this genre provides the musician with lots of effective chordal clichès- the build-up can be assembled just overlapping indefinitely long segments at higher and higher pitches over Synfire "tracks".

SF will take care of transforming this "picture" made of coloured lines into a musical result, more or less corresponding to the composer's objectives.

All sounds, choir, english horn etcetera, are from Synfire, no external VST were used.

Thank you HiE!

Now even the idea of having no definite notes like in a DAW, a feature that looked rather weird to me at first sight, is starting to make sense... :-)

... more or less what the maker of Synfire envisioned :-)

Great example.
