Hi.
We can now do this, which is wonderful:
Drag a saved snippet memory from a library into Structure, then drag the created container from Structure to the Snippets Grid to create a "meta-snippet" there.
It would accelerate the workflow quite a bit if we could drag a saved snippet memory from a library directly to the Snippets Grid to create the "meta-snippet" in one simple quick operation.
What I mean by "meta-snippet" is that the snippet has multiple figures and instruments in it. IOW, it's the whole band, not just one instrument in the band.
Probably a better term is needed than "meta-snippet". I know it's all containers, but sometimes we need to speak with distinction about what is in the containers in order to describe the goals of creation and workflow.
The end result, in current terms, is that what -was- a snippet memory (thought of as collecting multiple simple snippets) becomes itself a single snippet. These can be accumulated in the Snippets Grid to the full extent of the grid, and this is desirable. Yes!
Also, since processing a snippets memory thru Library and Structure this way gives a final result of copying the snippets memory down into a single snippet, it would be highly workflow efficient if we could just do that directly (IOW, drag a snippet memory back into a single snippet slot directly).

One of the many conversion paths not yet handled. Easy to add.
