Where in HN can I choose my ASIO audio device?
This is extremely frustrating. Any help will be appreciated.

HN is a midi application. There's no audio from HN, hence no ASIO.

If there's no audio setup, why does the screen say audio and midi setup?
Thanks for your answer, but it wasn't too helpful.

It is called Audio & MIDI Setup in regard to future development and updates. We consider adding AU/VST hosting in the future. For now, you will need to setup your DAW (or standalone synths) to receive MIDI from a loopback driver (aka "virtual MIDI cable").
This article handles that topic in detail:

Here's a collection of videos that show how to do it:

Thanks very much Andre -- very helpful.
I just posted a response to your new blog platform thread for Synfire projects. Will you be setting up something similar for HN projects?

Well I finally got sound out of the lite version using my ASIO soundcard that I use for music. I can hear the internal GM synth on the Device Descriptions page when I press play and can audition the GM instruments as they play whatever midi files are attached to each.
When I go to the main program area and press the play button, I don't hear anything.
I have about three weeks left on the demo so I hope I can make enough progress to justify getting HN lite at least.
