integrated user movie recorder

Is there a link not displayed here.... Please advise.  It would be nice if different people found an easy way to show what they've learnt.. Cause we're on our own a lot here. 

I use Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 to create screen capture videos. The standard version is free. Since Service Pack 2 there is also no recording time limitation anymore.

CamStudio - Free Streaming Video Software is free and does the job perfectly for me.

I'm against music software with integrated screen recorder. It's just an additional source of bugs.
