Since I'm auditioning SFE, I'm asking here ... but I'd like to know about this for HN2 as well.
I wish I could adjust the length of time that a chord is triggered when I audition it in a palette. Where would I find this adjustment?
Actually, I wish there was a setting where I could click and hold down the mouse button and have it continue to play until I released it.
Thanks ...

Doesn't this depend on the instrument you are using?

Hmmm ... I thought the chords played when audtioning with a palette were from the global instruments ... which I guess you can change from the default if you want?
Any way, why would that make a difference as far as how long the triggering of the palette continued to play?

Tap it once and it will sound forever.
Hold it for 800 ms or longer and it will stop when you release the mouse button.

How about making the 800 ms setting adjustable by the user? At least as an experimental feature. Then, by lowering this value a rapidly repeated triggering of chords should be possible (although I am aware that this is not the intended use of the palettes).

What?! ... I thought nothing lasted forever. ;)
I'd agree with Juergen for a way to adjust/ reduce it.
(Edit) Actually, thinking about it some more, I don't agree with Juergen. I'd like to have choices other than last forever on initial click.

Edit the sound you use to play the chords and with short clicks you can have everything from a stab sound to a 5 minute (or infinite) drone.
