Hello community
The steps in the tutorial for the installation of a new device seem very complex for me as a beginner... (even more so with another VST >VSL Synchron Prime...) https://users.cognitone.com/tutorial/devices-1-creating-device-template
Is there perhaps a template for this that has already been created and can be imported into Synfire Pro 2 for use with HOOE?
Thank you for any support and best wishes!

Section 2.1.4 in the HOOE user manual list all articulations for instruments. If EW offers Cubase expression maps for download you can import them into your device description. The key switch details should be listed somewhere maybe the plugin shows them on screen.

The Hollywood Orchestrator feature of HOOE is meant to play scripted performances. This convenience feature for beginners somewhat conflicts with Synfire which is supposed to control all instruments, harmony and rhythm directly.
In Synfire you use libraries, phrases and containers to create "patterns" or "styles" that follow global Harmony. Hollywood Orchestrator renders its own notes internally that most likely do not follow Synfire harmony.
But I'm pretty sure you can also use the HOOE instruments like a regular sample library. That will work fine with Synfire. Setting up a device is a one time effort that might cost you a day or so.
