I suggest to have menu items in progression view which transforms a selected chord using the various Neo-Riemannian transformations like P, L, R, ...
One usecase would be to start with a chord, then copy it to subsequent beat(s)/bar(s) just to modify it with the help of the proposed menu item.
The result after applying the transformation is a new chord. To move on we may copy that one as before and use the menue and so on.
Compound transformations, i.e PL will be possible too, by multiple use of menue transformations.

EDIT: video content provided to carry Neo-Riemannian concept for the P, L, R, compound transformations.
and extending triads...

These chord transformations are certainly worth looking at. We need a few more harmony factories anyway.
All this theory overhead however is pretty confusing and distracting. The only thing that counts is what the progressions sound like. How to arrange them with an orchestra is an entirely different question that only the composer/artist can answer.

Yes, I suggest to add a Riemannian Chord progression factory, where you can define the probabilities on the level of basis (P, L, R) as well as compound (PL, ...).
As Riemannian harmony is basically triad chords only, maybe some factory parameter allowing for more complex chordal structures would be great.
I guess, that factory will be a killer to all cinematic composers.
