Not a bug. The last chord always reaches to the end of the progression.
That said, somehow your progression got very long. Maybe you resized it, or edited its scheme to include a big number of rows?
Truncating it is easy: Go to the Progresison tab and edit the number of bars/rows on the Scheme tab.
Or select a span with the span tool and trim (Command T).

yeah I guess the project is just too long. ajusting the project default length should fix it
its just a bit weird that the last chord fills the whole arrangement by default when I use drag and drop on a fresh project in osx. It still looks like some kind of bug even if it can be cropped or the project length can be ajusted beforehand as you guys said
