Chord Completion

Can anyone help me with the chord completion feature?

I have entered some chords with two "notes" in each. If I tick the Interpretation: Completion box for the instrument it makes no difference. Only two notes are output.

However, if I tick the "Full chord" box for each chord in the figure editor that does produce a full chord. In that case ticking or unticking interpretation: completion still makes no difference and full chords are still generated whether it's ticked or not.

Does anyone know why ticking Interpretation: Completion seems not to work for me?

Thanks,

Tim

However, with three notes in each chord the Interpretation: Completion feature seems to work fine.

There's no real problem therefore. But it seems you need three notes in the chord instead of the two stated in the documentation?

Yes, the manual is wrong here. Thanks for bringing this up. Actually, a chord almost always consist of three or more notes, so a minimum of three symbols should be intuitive enough.
