The microphone manufacturer Sennheiser offers a free Drums Virtual Instrument for Kontakt. The drum kit is sampled with several different Sennheiser and Neumann microphones at 24 velocity layers. It's 5 GB of samples in total. It comes also with over 1000 MIDI Grooves.
Its entirely free, only a registration is required. However, the website is apparently only in German (the "English" button leads only to the main page of Sennheiser). But it is not very difficult to complete the registration. Go to the "DrumMic'a" tab and enter name, address and email. Then, after confirmation of your email address, you get an activation code and download link.

It took me 2 tries, but I'm downloading it now... Yeah I had a bit of trouble with filling out form.. Finally I got to the last page.. Am downloading now = 5 gig
