Since I can't get used to Drones (I'm sure I'm not alone) it would be a huge alternative to enable rendering/capturing of single tracks instead of 'just' a mixdown.
The options should be as following (2ct):
- Capture mixdown (already there)
- Capture all tracks as single files
- Capture active tracks (= those that are not muted)
Today I can do almost all of my work in SFE due to using Bluecat's Patchwork VST (of course there are other solutions, too, it's just my tool of choice). Arpeggiators, sequencing, FX-chains and even audio-tracks can be done in a SFE-project without the hassle of opening the DAW of choice.
But for finishing a mix the final treatment of single tracks is inevitable. Be it to use proper side-chaining for fixing kickdrum&bass, exchanging a 'draft' reverb with a CPU-hungry brother, establishing fades & mutes, build stems/subgroups etc.
So... I'm really hoping to see this feature one day. It'd make the usage of SFE much more comfortable. :)

Thanks for the suggestion and your feedback.
The only way to do this now is to solo a track, capture the song, rename the captured file, and start over until all tracks are done.
