Upgraded macbookpro to newest macbookpro (with mavericks), using migration assistant, and then upgraded to latest version of SFP (1.7.4b10).
When I start SFP it complains about folder permissions in
/Library/Application Support/Synfire Pro/Updates/setup.db.temp
offers choice to quit or continue. Continue does nothing.
I've manually tried to change permissions on setup.db (from owner root to owner user (me)), uninstalled SFP and then reinstalled (as opposed to "upgrade" it appears now to be a fresh install. PS when unistalling it did give error that it was an "incomplete uninstall please contact manufacturer"). Anyway the error about folder permissions continues, and SFP does not really run.

The migration assistant may have messed with folder permissions. Please run Disk Utility and repair file permissions. Then reinstall Synfire.
