Setting loop range

Posted

It would be nice to set loop ranges a bit easier.
When you select a container, the part above the ruler turns grey.
Doubleclicking that greyed out range should make it blue, so that the range is set to loop that container.
Also, when a loop is selected, and you start playing before the loop range, sometimes the audio is cut, untill the looprange is played.

What about a context menu (Right Click in Windows) item 'Set loop to container?'

You'd know better than I. I just thought it would be easier to reference the object ... the container ... than targeting above it on a time line.

However it could be done, it's a useful function and excellent idea!

I often have a bit of trouble looping.. It's too sensitive.. Sometimes I accidently shut off the looping, or accidenetly turn it on, when I don't want it. It would be nice if there was a more deliberate way to start/stop it.
