Hello,
Where do I download the update for Synfire Pro 1.8.5 and does it now work with Cubase 9.5 Pro?
Thanks,

Hello,
you can always obtain all the current downloads by logging into your Cognitone user account ((https://www.cognitone.com/user/downloads/index.stml))
However, if you intend to use Synfire 1.8.5 together with Cubase 9.5 Pro by means of ReWire then unfortunately no, you will probably not succeed to do so.
Best regards

Will it sync with Cubase 9.5 pro at all using a method other than rewire?
Thanks,
Bill

Yes, Synfire and Cubase 9.5 can be synchronized by means of MTC (MIDI Time Code). For this to work, you need to create a MIDI cable connecting these two applications. It can be either a physical loopback cable on your MIDI interface, or a virtual MIDI device (LoopBe1, LoopBe30).

Here's a tutorial for Cubase: (https://users.cognitone.com/tutorial/synfire-daw-cubase)
Be aware however, that there is currently a bug with Cubase that keeps the small ReWire window from opening. As said in the other thread, you should file a bug report with Steinberg, telling them than a ReWite plugin names "Transport" is unable to open merely because of its name.
