I've been setting up some modules containing Kontakt 5 Factory Library instruments and I've noticed an issue with the volume.
When I load one of the instruments into Kontakt, the volume bar (in the majority of cases) is about half way across and reads -0.6db. However when accessing the volume control in Synfire (either from the slider or from setting playing ranges, etc.) the volume in Kontakt jumps back to -14.9db, and this is the value it is at when the Synfire volume is 90.
After that, setting the volume to 127 in Synfire returns the Kontakt slider to -0.6db but it doesn't leave much room for manoeuvre. To compensate, I'm having to set the Master Volume in Kontakt to a higher level.
I would expect that the Synfire volume of 90 should equal the default volume in Kontakt. Am I doing something wrong or is it a Kontakt issue?
