transposing in octaves?

Hi list,

What about transposing a figure or so by exactly an octave by pressing cmd-arrow-up respectively cmd-arrow-down (or something aequivalent - quasi "near-octave", if the actual progression chord doesn't allow octaves) - like in Sibelius?

Figures can't be transposed by an octave, because they have no idea in advance against which scales they will be rendered, so that would not work. Transposing by 7 steps could work, but is not guaranteed.

The Chromatic parameter can be used for this, though.
