The rewire option for sync is not showing up when I use Reason as a standalone rack. Any suggestions? Please help.

Does Reason standalone work like a DAW? I used it as ReWire slave only.

I don't think it's possible. Reason can not act as a ReWire master (mixer). It's always being used as a slave.
In order to sync with Synfire, a DAW needs to load the ReWire module "Transport". Reason can't load ReWire modules, because it is one itself.
You can load Reason into Logic or Cubase or another DAW and sync that DAW with Synfire.
