Hello Cognitos!
I need help....I sync Sonar with Synfire. I have created a rack with kontak 4 availalble in global instruments. I was able to bring back metronome, but I cannot hear myself recording. When I connect nano to sound device...all sounds stops in arrangement?
How do I go about creating drones in Sonar. This is what I have right now. Please take a look at the pic.
Here is the screen shot.
Thank you all

This is best posted in the forum section...it sounds like you have a similar issue that janamdo was having with the sound card not being shared between two different sound sources. If you search the forum for his posts about cubase he solved it with a free download from cubase that's a sort of virtual sound device, everything drives that, then that drives the real sound card.
On how to add a drone, just treat it like a standard vsti and add I like you would add any vsti. In synfire you tell thew drone what real vsti to load.

On Windows, some USB MIDI drivers can not connect to multiple programs at the same time. I remember this was also the case with nanoKEY. If you want to use nanoKEY with Synfire, make sure it is not used by Sonar at the same time, or vice versa.
On the Mac there are no such issues.

Thanks pal:-)
Did you check the nano connections?
What sound device is supposed to be connected to? Because I do not use it with sonar. I want it just for synfire. Any insights on kontak dropping some sounds? Thanks again Supertonic.

Hello Cognitos,
Somehow when relocating sounds to DAW? instead I make a reserved port?
I cannot get rid of these DAW devices in Synfire. Can someone help please?
The sound from Kontak is worth all this trouble, but I need some guidance here.
Please take a look at the screen shot.
Thanks
