Creating sound previews

There's a Bounce button on the Mixer tab. Once armed, it will record all output to disk until stopped. You'll find the recorded audo file next to the arrangement document (File >> Reveal in Finder/Explorer)

Have tried this numerous times and I get only an error after.  macOS 13 Ventura.  Can't open it in any player (Quicktime, Audacity, Music, etc.).

Just tested on Ventura. Works as intended here.

Could be a folder permission issue.

Folders are set up for read and write, but oddly enough, it works today!  It makes a monstrous huge file, 1.2 GB for less than two minutes of sound.  Definitely something wonky going on.  Just out of curiosity, why is there no option to export a particular file type?  wav would be more industry standard, or mp3 would be ideal for sharing quickly via email etc.

Yes, extreme wonkiness.  It created a file over 2 hours in length for a two minute song! That would explain a lot.  Why it's doing that is a mystery!  :)
