ReWire is now officially dead and will be no longer be supported.
Most DAWs have deprecated or removed it already. It doesn't make sense to continue to deliver it with the Synfire installer, as it will likely cause problems. The current version of Logic Pro crashes when ReWire.bundle is installed (remove it from Application Support/Propellerheads). While Logic should probably get this error fixed, we rather think ReWire will be dropped from the product soon.
Synchronization of Synfire with a DAW works fine for many DAWs with MTC or MIDI Clock. We will explore more options soon.

MTC synch causes some trouble currently with Logic Pro and other DAW. This is being worked on.
