Hey all,
I'd really like to see the auto-chord function enhanced
in a way that a figure (loop) can auto-retrigger on a chordchange
in the way the auto-chord does this with plain chords, but instead
with the whole figure loop.
I think this would make a supernice addition to the interpretation,
general possibilities and ease of workflow.
Please consider this.

Okay, great.
Think "Brass Sections" fills in funk and bigband for example.
A feature like that would be awesome for bigstyle fills.
This is also something that is the most hard to program "by hand" in any daw,
Check this out:

Would be a breeze with a function like that.
Impossible to do without hours of editing without.
Some trigger mechanism would be a god-send really... :)

Can't it be done with a phrase arpeggiator? Steinberg's Arpache SX or SquareHeads Nora comes to mind. Load your phrase into the arpeggiator and trigger it with the output chords of Synfire's Autochords feature.

Nah. Naaah. If it would be that easy.. lol.
I am talking about ALL Instruments in Concert doing that. Not ONE. :)
I am also talking about rythm changes, that include harmony changes that are not ARPable...
(i.e. 16,32,triplet, 60% swing, etc...)
Again, check the link. My guess is you would need a minimum of 80 arps or so to do that. :)
And that is only when you really stick with a strict figure and not get creative in the process.
And you could never change something afterward, because you would have to go through
ALL of your ARP phrases again... and again... and again...
Trust me. Did this by hand a couple of times, and thats the only way it works until now.
(If you're not a whole Band, that is..)
