I am in awe of the progressions that HN2 can create with my imported melodies!
But I would love to have access to styles similar to the ones that are created by Yamaha and Motifs Digital Stations.
For some strange reason I cannot make the combos in NH2 sound very good when I import them to Bandstand or Cubase. It could be that I am still learning the program.
Here in the states there is a program called Jammer with some very good styles. Can you convert some of these as part of your templates?

I am not familiar with Tyros, but if you have Yamaha STY files, these are plain midi files with multiple parts in them. You can import them the same way you import standard midi files. On the import dialog, be sure you select the variation pattern you want to import.

Hi There!
Yes I have tons of STY files and some with the extensions .psr by Yamaha.
I tried importing them into NH2 and it does not let me do that. I guess the extension STY or .psr in the files?
The extension that NH2 recognizes is .midi. Could this be the reason.
I am just thinking of adding more Combos to the ones the software comes with.
Thanks Supertonic.

Supertonic, I just found out how to change the extension name on the files and have converted all STY from Yamaha to my NH2 collection.
Thanks a bunch!
Merry Christmas to Andre and all of you for making my music writing a pleasure!
