I'm a few days into trying the demo of HN2 and slowly catching on. My question is: is there a way to enter an alternate bass note once a chord has been dragged from the pallet to the timeline (without having to switch to the Progression tab). I know I can swap inversions with the number keys 1-4, but how would I, say, indicate a slash chord such as C/A after dropping the C chord onto the timeline?

welcome to the user forum!
there's a button +/- for bass. hold down shift for chromatic steps. on the text input field you can also use the slash (/) after the chord followed by the bass note.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I didn't get an email notice that there was a reply so I apologize for this late response.
I was asking specifically about entering slash chords in the Pallet tab, without having to switch to the Progression tab. Also, I tried holding shift down to get the chromatic steps and it didn't work.
