Good! It's about time, after 30 years of no progress.
Sounds like MIDI 2.0 will support many things Synfire can make use of: Profiles, properties, etc. Really looking forward to it.
Although I'm afraid it will take many, many years for (plug-in) manufacturers to embrace and implement it.
