is it possibile to edit an item once it has beenm stored in the library?
So what to do, if i want to edit the figure of a phrase afterwards?
Can't find a way to access them...

If you want to edit it within the library, simply open the library and select the item. It will display and you can make changes.
If you want to edit it within a project, select the item and drag it to an instrument. Again, it will display and you can make changes. These changes will be for that project only.

Ok...as far as i see, articulations are not supported in the Phrase Pool editor?
I think taht is,m because the sound is there (in the Phrase Pool editor) only played back and handled as GM Midi...
Is there a way to include articulation switching in the Library/Phrase pool?

Let's hope the maestro (Andre) chimes in here. I'm not much more than a beginner myself, and anything I could venture to tell you would probably be wrong.
But if you haven't already done so, I suggest you do a search of the manual using the keyword "articulations".

Not sure about not including articulations in libraries, I know you can store lots of the other parameters in there and the example library includes things such as velocity, timing, etc. There is a button near the top of the embedded library view that looks a bit like an infinity sign, that tells the library to preview its phrases using the currently selected instrument rather than the one defined in the global rack. Maybe try it with that turned on. Sorry can't get into my studio at the moment so thats all from memory.

Sorry for the very long wait. I've been swamped with development tasks lately.
With Synfire 1 you can't edit items in an embedded libary. But you can save the embedded library as a standalone file and then edit that. There are commands for this in the options menu over the library browser. Version 2.0 will have full library editing capabilities integrated with the arrange window.
Storing articulations in a library only makes sense if you are sure you will use the phrases only with the same sound, as articulations are specific to a device or sound.
