Synfire has become sluggish?

This has been going on for a while, but now it is becoming unworkable.
With the current setup it takes way too long to save an arrangement.
The sdd disk is half full.
Synfire is connected to the Vienna Ensemble pro server.
Already 5 minutes trying to start saving the arrangement and it seems Synfire is hanging on this.

Memory is used by 89 % and by Vienna ensemble pro for 8530 Mb , Synfire is using 610, 5 mb
Unloaden the assigned (unused) sounds for Vienna ensemble pro ?

Purge samples in Kontakt Vsti helps and some more ram memory ( buy?)

You should have at least 8 GB RAM in your computer. If it starts swapping RAM to disk you will be in trouble.

I have 16 Gb RAM installed and is actually already minimal.
Was thinking of expanding the memory to 32 GB and is cheap these days.
But it looks like Synfire's slowness is gone by reducing memory usage.
