Can i loop a certain part ?

Still learning HN , it gives me a hard time to be honest.

Maybe a stupid question :

I imported a midi bassline file in the accompaniment window.

The midi file is only 2 bars long and i want to cycle HN around this 2 bars.

Can that be done ?

Problem is now that when i hit play , HN keeps playing further than the length of the midi file.

You could either change the length of the bass figure only (first picture) or the length of the accompaniment pattern (second picture). Depends on what you want to do.

i tried the second option, but still , no looping takes place.

HN just stops playing after it has reached the last measure.

It doesn't skip back to the beginning.

Hm. Looping requires you play the pattern live in real-time mode. Simple playback in the editor will not loop it. If you want to have it loop in the editor, you must set the pattern length to the overall duration you want it to loop (128 measures or something).
