Is there a way to import multiple MIDI files into a library other than one by one? I have a ton of MIDI progressions, and I would like to make templates out of them. Is there a way to do this in a batch? It would also be cool to just be able to drag a standard MIDI file on to the Harmony parameter or Figure parameter.

As far as I know, there is no way to import multiple files (I wish there was..)
I tried using the Automator app on Mac to macro the process of importing files at one point, but for some reason that wouldn't work...like the GUI toolkit is a bit too far off base for the accessibility functions to be able to reach in and control the program.

That's funny; the thought crossed my mind to try creating a macro or something else to do it in batches.
It would be nice if Synfire allowed for dropping MIDI files in a folder. The contents in that folder could then immediately be made available for progression templates. A similar thing would be great for creating phrase pools.

Batch import of chords and scales descriptions ?
I mean: what if i want to enter 200 of the 2000 scales available here in Synfire ?
